- Hitmen, Wranglers and Roughnecks games: doors open one hour before the game, according to the Saddledome.
- No re-entry: once inside, leaving and coming back is not permitted, so a meal outside the building comes before entry.
- Bags: the venue allows bags up to 14 x 14 x 6 inches through the yellow entry and does not allow backpacks; full rules are on Saddledome seating and parking.

Getting there on foot and by CTrain
The Victoria Park/Stampede CTrain station on the Red Line serves the Saddledome and the BMO Centre, according to the Calgary Stampede.
