The Farewell Season and the move to Scotia Place
The Calgary Flames’ article of March 21 2026 says 2026-2027 marks the Farewell Season for Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation (CSEC) clubs and operations inside the Scotiabank Saddledome, and names the AHL’s Calgary Wranglers among them. The Flames and the City of Calgary say Scotia Place is scheduled to open in fall 2027; neither source read gives a date for the Wranglers’ first game there. The City says it will demolish the Saddledome when Scotia Place opens. Details are on Scotia Place: what to know, and the other Saddledome teams are on Teams at Victoria Park.
