Date, opponent and start time
The NHL’s schedule for the Calgary club lists a game on April 10 2027 with Vancouver as the visiting team and the Scotiabank Saddledome as the venue. The feed gives the start as 02:00 UTC on April 11, which is 8:00 pm in Calgary. Daily Hive, reporting the league’s schedule release on July 16 2026, also gave Saturday April 10 against Vancouver at 8:00 pm Mountain Time, and called it the Flames’ last-ever game at the Saddledome. The date, opponent and time in the two sources agree.
The time needs one note. Alberta moves to Alberta Time on November 1 2026. The provincial government describes it as equivalent to UTC-6:00, says it was previously called Mountain Daylight Time in Alberta, and says the province has ended semi-annual clock changes. Every start time on this page is written in Calgary time.
The NHL feed lists two national Canadian broadcasts for the game: SN and SN1, the Sportsnet channels.
What the Flames have said about the Farewell Season
The Flames call 2026-27 the Scotiabank Saddledome Farewell Season. In the team’s schedule release of July 16 2026, it describes the season as its final one at the Saddledome and says the season opened at home on October 1 against the Seattle Kraken. The team’s August 31 2026 single-game ticket announcement added that the building opened its doors in 1983, that fans would have “44 opportunities” to gather there during the season, and that every NHL opponent will visit the Saddledome one last time.
On September 23 2026 the team published its list of 22 theme games. Two of them concern the end of the building’s NHL run:
- Tuesday March 23 2027 against Edmonton is labelled the “Final Battle Of Alberta At The ‘Dome”.
- Saturday April 10 2027 against Vancouver is labelled “Farewell Celebration”, presented by Scotia Perks.
The theme-games page does not say what the Farewell Celebration will involve, and it does not call April 10 the final home game in words; it is the last game on the list. The August 31 ticket announcement said more details about Farewell Season celebrations, special events and commemorative initiatives would be released ahead of the 2026-27 season. As of October 29 2026 no source read for this page describes a ceremony, a guest list or a giveaway for April 10.
How tickets are sold
The Flames’ ticket page sends single-game buyers to Ticketmaster.ca. The same page lists season memberships and multi-game packs, a Last Minute Ticket Club and Student Rush, which link to a different ticket platform, and group tickets, which link to the Scotiabank Saddledome’s group page. The team’s August 31 announcement said single-game tickets were on sale from that date and that season ticket memberships cover the full Farewell Season, subject to availability. None of the pages read for this guide states a price for the April 10 game.
For the practical side of a game night, see Saddledome seating and parking, the Victoria Park/Stampede CTrain station guide, getting to Victoria Park and where to eat near the Saddledome. The Flames’ full home schedule is on the Calgary Flames home games page.
The last home games of the other Calgary teams
Three other Calgary teams publish home schedules for the same season: the Calgary Hitmen of the Western Hockey League, the Calgary Wranglers of the American Hockey League and the Calgary Roughnecks of the National Lacrosse League. Each team’s own schedule was read for the table below. Their last home dates all differ, and the Roughnecks’ last scheduled home game comes a week after the Flames’.
| Team | Last scheduled regular-season home game | Opponent | Start time | Source note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Calgary Hitmen (WHL) | Friday March 26 2027 | Edmonton (listed as EDM) | 6:00 pm Calgary time | Team’s 2026-27 schedule PDF, home games marked; the PDF says game times are subject to change and does not name the venue |
| Calgary Wranglers (AHL) | Sunday April 4 2027 | San Jose Barracuda | 1:00 pm Calgary time | Team schedule page, which names the Scotiabank Saddledome as the venue |
| Calgary Flames (NHL) | Saturday April 10 2027 | Vancouver Canucks | 8:00 pm Calgary time | NHL club schedule feed |
| Calgary Roughnecks (NLL) | Saturday April 17 2027 | San Diego | 7:00 pm Calgary time | Team schedule page; the page does not name the venue for each game |
A few points sit behind the table.
Hitmen
The Hitmen’s schedule on the WHL’s site shows only a window of games from October 23 to November 10 2026 and links to a PDF for the full season. The PDF marks home and away dates by colour, says all games are in Mountain Daylight Time, which the Government of Alberta says is the earlier name for Alberta Time, and says times are subject to change. It sends readers to the team’s website for game locations. The last home date marked is March 26 2027, and the regular season in the PDF ends on March 27 with an away game. More is on the Calgary Hitmen home games page.
Wranglers
The Wranglers’ schedule lists the San Jose game on April 4 2027 with Calgary as the home team and the Scotiabank Saddledome as the venue. The team’s last listed regular-season game is a road game on April 10 2027. More is on the Calgary Wranglers home games page.
Roughnecks
The Roughnecks list “Roughnecks vs San Diego” as a home game on April 17 2027 at 7:00 pm, followed by a road game at Buffalo on April 24 2027. Their schedule page links to the Scotiabank Saddledome but, in the version read, does not print the venue beside each game, so the Saddledome is not confirmed game by game. See Calgary Roughnecks home games.
Regular season only
The dates on this page are the final scheduled regular-season home games. The NHL feed read for this page lists preseason and regular-season games only, and the other three schedules list no postseason dates. The fact this page can state is the one in the table: April 10 2027 is the Flames’ last scheduled regular-season home game.
What comes after
The Flames have said 2026-27 is their last season in the Saddledome. What follows for the building and for the team’s new home is covered on the Scotia Place page. The building’s own story, from its opening to the Farewell Season, is on the Saddledome history page and is not repeated here.
